Prairie Harvest prophetic ministry exists to teach, train and equip believers in the gift of prophecy, and then to use that gift to encourage others and to help build up the body of Christ.

Our approach to prophecy and prophetic ministry is rooted in New Testament scripture; 1 Corinthians 14:1-4 which says; "Let love be your highest goal! But you should also eagerly desire spiritual gifts—especially that you might prophesy. …for the one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them."

We believe God desires us to develop and use our spiritual gifts to help fulfill His mission on earth.

· Not for personal gain
· Not psychic or “new age”
· Not entertainment

· A gift of the Holy Spirit as explained in 1 Cor 12:7-11.
· It is for the purpose of encouraging others and building up the church.
· Can reveal things unknown
· Can reveal God’s heart or His wisdom.
· Can bring healing
· Can bring confirmation or guidance.
· Can bring comfort and strength

Prophetic Ministry at Prairie Harvest Church is in agreement with and adheres to the Prophetic Standards Statement – A Unified Call for Prophetic Accountability which is a set of beliefs and guidelines for biblical operation and function of prophecy in the church.

If you desire to receive prophetic ministry, we have a prophetic team of trained and trusted people who can minister to you. We offer ministry sessions once a month, usually on the last Sunday of the month following the 11am service. Once a year we offer classes on “Understanding the Prophecy” for those who want to grow and develop in the gift of prophecy. These classes will help you to gain a biblical understanding of prophecy and how God still speaks to day, as well as give you many opportunities to grow and be activated in your gift.
